Hello there… I'm so pleased to have you visit me, I know it's a blessings for us both that you have come!
Although I will say to you that I created SOUL TECHNOLOGY®, the truest truth is that it created me...
My story -- the story that became the start of my life’s work -- begins with the suicide death of my son.
Sean was my only child, and everything that I could wish for as a parent. He was someone to be proud of, and I held him deeply in my heart as the most precious thing in the world to me. You can easily imagine that as his mother Sean's death was heart-wrenching and an awful blow, but that’s not the story that I will be telling. Although, I could share the valuable lessons found in loss, the real reason we are together is captured in the following very true words:
The impact of Sean's passing led me to uncover some unexpected insights and a golden key to mastery and transformation -- what I now call SOUL TECHNOLOGY® -- and everything that I can offer you is because I was my own first client!
Also, I won't be laying out the principles of SOUL TECHNOLOGY® here; let's save that for later when I put on my professional coach hat and persona. Right now I want to introduce you to me as a woman, and share with you the human side of my story and the silver lining of my grief. Specifically, how my deep desire to recover and be aligned with myself again changed me. Back then, I did not know what would come of the deeply personal process that I was in, or that I would start to help countless others... But, that's getting ahead of myself, let me simply tell you my story:

Back then, I did not know what would come of the deeply personal process that I was in, or that I would start to help countless others... But, that's getting ahead of myself, let me simply tell you my story:
I'll begin by saying that finding my way back to wholeness after my son’s death was quite a feat... For most of my life I had been walking a spiritual path; reading books, attending workshops and even leading seminars, offering classes and designing and conducting personal development sessions from a myriad of traditions. Yet I knew that I needed something way more powerful than what I'd been doing to get me through this experience. I was not at all myself; my world was surreal like I was encased in a gray void.

This state of being was a completely unfamiliar feeling. I had never been this out of balance with myself, and to be going through a challenge of such magnitude seemed truly foreign to me. I had always been resilient and wise and capable -- or as my friends often said -- just plain strong. My strength was still there, but it seemed just below the surface and slightly out of reach, and I was determined to get it back.
The first thing that I noticed was that my identity as Sean’s mother was displaced… I had given birth to him and had been very happy that he was my child from the minute that he was born; but with his body no longer here, was I still a mother? The answer was “yes”, of course. However, my identity had definitely been altered. What did this mean on every level; how had my “self-hood” been changed by this? Was it possible to regain my strength and somehow grow a new identity that still honored me loving Sean and my role as a mother? It all felt so taxing, but I intuitively knew that something else, something that I did not yet have a handle on, was quietly unfolding somewhere inside me.
What is the function of “identity?” What can one do to be in control of how identity impacts our life and what it means in terms of molding who we are? I began to examine all of this to address my own unsettled state, and in the middle of this exploration a lightbulb turned on with a flash of tremendously clear insight!
It was not about me finding answers to my questions; the gift that was unwrapping itself, whether I knew that it had been delivered or not, was that my intuition was guiding me. Answers were coming to me that were more than helpful, they were liberating and healing and soothing to my soul. And, I started to get it that the experience of interacting with my own inner intelligence was suddenly more important than my displaced identity.
This interaction with my intuition, and what I was unexpectedly experiencing as a wise and comforting inner knowing, is when SOUL TECHNOLOGY® was born -- even though at that time what I was learning and doing didn’t have a name. Of course, I so welcomed feeling better. But, even more than that, I was now very excited about my communication with my "Inner Teacher" and how expansive new doors of understanding had begun to open.
I spent most of the day and every night for several months exploring, examining and then reexamining the emerging and ever-growing relationship that I came to understand was my “Inner Teacher.” In other words, I jokingly have said many times that the Universe arranged for me to have a very personal reasons and the utmost of motivation to get the job done of uncovering my own "Soul's Intelligence."
I don't need to bore you with all the details of the highs and lows and the ins and outs of my yearlong process of healing and discovery. It was an emotional and very inward time for me, full of solitude and learning. Most of my waking hours were spent in contemplation and deep introspection focused on me experimenting and putting the knowledge of my inner intelligence to the test. I spent most of my days engaged in research, buoyed by my passion to understand, and absolutely driven by my own needs to feel good again and reclaim a centered state of being. On one hand I felt sad and heart-broken and on the other hand, I was exhilarated.
Also, I am happy to report that my "Inner Teacher" produced a feeling of greater power and resourcefulness than I had ever had before! Of course, the story didn’t end there… It continues, and the momentum has stepped up since I first began sharing SOUL TECHNOLOGY® with people like you. I invite you to take your turn -- to become acquainted with YOUR Inner Teacher -- and start harvesting your own insights to achieve your highest potential and to more easily manifest the goals that you have for your life and business!
And, the last thing that I would like you to know is this...
SOUL TECHNOLOGY® is not the only wonderful thing that happened because of my son Sean -- our family continues to grow -- and his daughter recently gave us the gift of another generation!
Dr. Aliah's Bio...
Dr. Aliah grew up in the inner city of Detroit during a time when violence and despair due to lack of opportunity was the norm. Determined to create a different path for herself, she applied the powerful lesson that personal transformation is critical for lasting change. After losing her only child to suicide in 1994, Dr. Aliah began to teach this lesson to others, especially women and young people of color. Her grounding in spirituality has served her greatly along the way, and Dr. Aliah is living proof that the understanding that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience is a golden key.
She is the owner of a registered trademark for her proprietary coaching model SOUL TECHNOLOGY®, and is known for her astounding work with individuals and families that are facing major life choices, the complicated challenges of grief and loss and many other future-defining crossroads. Dr. Aliah's approach is comprehensive and evolutionary, and she supports both youth and adults to find balance and begin to excel. Her key message is about the OTHER HALF of our intelligence, which she refers to as the “Inner Teacher". She is an expert in the areas of Transpersonal Psychology and Personal Performance, which she brilliantly combines with her extensive experience as a Trainer and Coaching Professional. Dr. Aliah is an ordained non-denominational minister, a longtime community leader and she holds a Ph.D. in Metapsychology as well as a Doctor of Divinity degree in Practical Theology.
In addition, Dr. Aliah believes that one of the greatest hindrances to the success of democracy and the ideals of unity and equality in the U.S. is our country’s history of the racial divide. She has devoted a large portion of her life to addressing bias and inequality as a Diversity Specialist, Educational Consultant, United Nations Delegate and as a partner in projects focused on Race Relations and Police Violence. Dr. Aliah is also the founder of the Next 50 Years Project, which she created to disseminate unique tools regarding cultural intelligence to Educators; to prepare today’s leaders to step forward as pioneers; and to support our communities to “update” how they do things, especially how to inspire and engage their citizens. Dr. Aliah is currently the Chief Inclusion Officer for The Shift Network, has practiced meditation for decades, and she resides in L.A. with her life partner.
